F3 Scene Files from AbelCine

am I missing something? whenever I try and load PP files like this, it only loads one file. In this case, when I select PP data-recall, it loads the AB normal profile only.

I am getting to the recall point by opening the PP files on the camera, selecting one, and then scrolling down to "set".

I too was having that problem, their instructions are slightly wrong... the way I did it was going through the main menu and recalling the settings for the whole camera, this then pulled up all of the files and "reset" the whole camera

Try going into the "Others" menu and then to camera data -> recall. That should work but will change all your camera settings.

I'm going to post the scene files individually, so you don't have to download them all to try them out. Thanks to Andrew Stone for separating them. I am missing one files still, JR45CIN2, which I will upload next week.

There are some really interesting color and tonal palettes going on in a few of those profiles. Thanks for all the good work Andy!

Andy, thanks for the files, and thanks Andrew for the separation. Tried out the AB hilit fIle today. Was very happy, and the director (also a colorist ) was happy. Shooting two more days on this project and looking forward to seeing the graded version.

Hey, Andy! Thanks for putting this stuff out there for all of us. Any chance you're doing the same for the FS-100?

Yes Stephen I absolutely plan to do that. Hopefully we will get our demo cameras in soon so I can spend some more time with it.

Hi Andy
Which one of those profiles are the most neutral settings for color grading in post?
Thanks

Will you guys do a test of the Slog and compare it to using Cine1 or 2 that the camera comes with? I'd like to see some hard examples of why to upgrade. What will Slog give me in post exactly? I'd like to see a shot with a lot of highlights and shadows, shot both ways, and see what you can bring back in grading with each setting.

Don't know if you've watched this already, but I thought it was pretty convincing. Really good side by side comparisons of XDCam vs. S-Log.
