F3 Native Sensor Color

Does anyone know or have an opinion about the F3 native sensor color balance that best suits the sensor. I understand that the sensor can only have one native or optimal color temperature (which for RED might be about 5500). I find that my outdoor 5600 shots seem better than indoor 3200 ones, but it may have to do with my lighting. Before spending a bunch on new lights I am wondering if switching indoor to 5600 would give better colors and skin tones? I know that sometimes you need to use incandescents indoors, but for studio shots with a white background, is there a preference? Thanks for any insights.
