Some of you may remember a post a few weeks ago where I was looking to find the part number for the levers, or ears for the "F3" mount on the F3, not the ones on the PL mount but the "F3" mount. Here is the old link.

Sony decided to make those out of plastic and are very easy to break off. Sony also insisted that they didn't have these parts, one person in parts even said that it was not their part that it must be an aftermarket part, WRONG. There had to be a part number since they are held on via two tiny screws, but yet they were not on the exploded service charts or in there database they said. After weeks of arguing with them they finally found the part number for what I was looking for, they had to call Japan and talk to the engineers.

So if you need these for your camera and since they are plastic, at some point you probably will, here is the part number and Quote from Sony:

The part number is: 441300001 LEVER MOUNT
These parts would need to be ordered from our overseas warehouse. The price is $ 22.25.
There will be a 2-3 week lead time once you order the part.

Unfortunately this answer took 3 weeks for me to get and I didn't have that kind of time, so I had some machined out of aluminum and am very happy with them and they are much stronger than before. But maybe this info will help someone else out in the future.

Also if you are replacing them, I found out the the threads in the mount are not all the way through the mount, so as you tighten down the screws they will feel tight but it is obvious they are not. Just make sure you have the correct size screwdriver head and slowly keep tightening them. Sony decided to use the screw threads for tension for the levers.
