For what it's worth I've been using my RED 17-50mm on most projects recently and it is a great lens, perfect for shoulder mount/ handheld work, and plenty wide too. Construction is excellent and the pictures have looked fantastic. I use it on my Sony F35 too and it looks equally as good. As Doug mentioned, I would love the Cabrio 19-90 but just out of my price range! Sparky x
