F & V F3 monitor and FS700

Anyone been using the F&V F3 monitor w/ the fs700?
Been having a "Not Support" blinking blue screen with no access to menu. Think it might be defective.
Cables and output settings are sound.

A rep from FV thought the camera signal might not be compatible, which to me is just stupid.

Thoughts?

If you are using the NEX in super slow motion mode then the SDI output will be 50p or 60p depending on whether you're in PAL or NTSC... Not all monitors support that (you can get around it by changing monitor output to interlaced). When in HD, standard frame rate (ie 25 or 30p) video output will be the same, ie 25 or 30p

I changed to 1080i, it worked but signal still flashes to black every other second. Plus, was get TC burn and ghosting after 30 seconds of use. Sending it back.
