Laphroaig 10 yr. I actually like the 10 yr. best as it is the most peaty of the Laphroaigs
Bruichladdich 15 yr. Gotta love the Laddie.
Lagavulin 16 yr. Yet a third Islay.
Bowmore 12 yr. A little less peaty than the other Islays but still VERY good.
Glenmorangie 15 yr. My favorite non-Islay scotch.


EDIT: In case it isn't obvious, I'm a huge fan of the Scotch from Islay.

Big fan of the peaty Islay stuff myself...but my mood changes from time to time.

If I had to pick one of the regions to be the end all, though...without poo pooing even thinking, it would be Islay.
 
You ever watch The Thirsty Traveler? On their Scotch episode, the featured Islay. Pronounced: Eye - la...for the uninitiated. :beer:

There is also a super premium blue label (which blends together the best vintage malts from each region)...
and the formerly European-exclusive green label (a single malt, no less) has begun hitting U.S. shelves more and more frequently.

Overall, I prefer single malts...but JW quality as a blend is unmatched.
Just stay away from red:zombie_smiley:

The last blended Scotch I had was in 1986. Chevas Royal Salute. After I discovered single malts, there was no looking back.
