F-Mount Ears

So I was on set today and had to change mounts. The F mount was stuck and would not turn, and in trying to get the mount off one on the F-mount ears broke. The other is loose. Does anybody know the part number for the ears? Looks like they are just screwed on there. I found the part number for the PL mount ears, but the ears are different on the F-mount.

It happend to me. Sony does not sell those ears as spare parts, you can only order a complete F-mount.
Totally crazy.
But they are screwed onto the mounting ring with little screws. So I had some duplicates made of aluminium.
that works just fine. Good luck!

That's correct, the PL Mount is unfortunately not repairable, although you can replace the ears on the outer mount. I've got a couple of broken comm pins on mine and was told that it would have to be replaced, at $1067. Yeah.... right.... all that just so I can read the lens information in the view finder. Just wear it, BackFocus92. One ear is still enough.

Do you have a picture of your new mounts? Also, did you have to take the camera apart to replace them?

Here you go, I had them made at VOCAS. As far as I know they just screwed them on without taking the mount apart. Its just two very little screws that hold them. So be very carefull with applying force onto the mount.
