Eye Detection Question (A7RII)

I've heard great things about eye detect AF on the Sony A7RII. Curious if that feature works while shooting video?

I've tried and it doesn't work, face detection does though. Though I will say there are so many settings, I may have missed what's needed to engage it, but using the same methods when shooting stills brings up a not available message.

The eye AF is really cool though, I have it set to a custom button so I can just punch it for sharp eyes when shooting people, nails it almost every time, and if it can't pick up an eye, it defaults to face detection - which is also incredibly accurate. I really wish I didn't have to wait for the A7s3 to get this feature, I use it everytime I shoot people now.

I have yet to try eye AF, it is bit of a minefield working through all the options for focus on this Camera, I still haven't hit the sweet spot
