Extreme bokeh test at night

Hi, I posted this pics in my cavision thread, but I think it's better in his own topic.
So, here you are, a little bokeh test. I couldn't shoot with daylight and the hv20 isn't the best at low light, but you can make an idea.
Remember, lenses are Nikon 17-35mm f2.8 and Nikon 50mm f1.4 AIS

17mm f2.8

17mm f4

17mm f5.6

20mm f2.8

20mm f4

20mm f5.6

24mm f2.8

24mm f4

24mm f5.6

continues...

28mm f2.8

28mm f4

28mm f5.6

35mm f2.8

35mm f4

35mm f5.6

50mm f1.4

50mm f2

50mm f2.8

And that's it. Tomorrow I'll try to do one of that precious clips with lovely soundtrack...

Best regards.

p.s. Love the Letus

Man...the 35mm lens is cutting it a bit close, having to stop down to f5.6 to get that bokeh. The 50mm lens's bokeh looks beautiful! Octogans....mmmmm..

Hmmm, at 35mm I find f4 more than usable (f2.8 bokeh highlights are a bit ugly donuts) but I agree 50mm bokeh is beautiful (I'm looking forward to getting one of those smooth 85mm which is supposed to be even prettier).
Regards

Actually these tests are interesting, but only will be meaningful if someone can compare them to another adapter - especially the Brevis, since that is the natural comparison. Are we seeing artifacting from the adapter or the lens? can't tell that yet, but I agree the Bokeh on the lights is not attractive at open apertures. Strange actually as I'm not sure what the problem is yet.

Perhaps it is coming from how the screen treats flare itself. Maybe in the closed down examples the highlights aren't hot enough to flare?

I stayed at the same place in all shots and try to capture the same kind of highlights. And yes, I'd love to compare with Brevis or other lenses, but that's what I have :D
I made the test for Dxmetal and all interested in examining all type of bokeh.
I'll try to made some tests before sunset.
Regards
