External Monitor on Sony EX3 ??

I just bought our first Sony EX3. But, before it gets here, so I make sure to get a monitor with the right connections, would someone, who has a Sony EX3 already, please tell me how it hooks up to an external monitor? Is it HDMI, RCA, or what?

Thanks.

Component out, which is three analog RCA plugs. Not red, white, blue, but green, blue, red instead.

Also, HD-SDI by BNC plug. HD-SDI is the professional digital output, but a different plug than HDMI. The EX3 does not have HDMI. If you get a Nanoflash they can output HDMI.

Thank you Duke.

Do you know of a 7" LCD Monitor I can use with the HD-SDI BNC connections for about $500 to $800 ?

I just can't afford a $2,700.oo monitor at this time.

Thanks again.

I haven't shopped for awhile. The usual ones mentioned (and there are several threads discussing this) are smallhd.com for about $1,200 for sdi and $900 for hdmi and component. ManhattanLCD.com has a couple models plus they have kits for DIY.

I'd search the threads on this sight and get a broader spectrum.
