External Monitor Focus Assist

Hi everyone, firstly, can anyone recommend a good field monitor for less than £400 in the U.K?

Secondly, when using the hdmi out to a field monitor, do functions like the 8x crop and focus assist appear on the monitor or are they in camera only?

I use the SmallHD DP4 and it's roughly in that price range. Doubles as an EVF when I need it. Not perfectly calibrated, but I don't expose visually anyhow- I always look at the histogram. The HDMI out works fine with all the in-camera data displayed. Zebras, focus edging, histogram, lens data, etc. The expanded focus option, however, doesn't seem to work with the DP4. I haven't found any combination of settings that allow it to work yet.

It's a fine monitor considering its double duty as an EVF and its price point. It's not too big, but big enough. For an AC to pull focus I think it's plenty good enough. Combine the Sony focus edging coming out of the camera with the built in focus assist & edging features in the DP4 and you'd have to be legally blind to miss focus looking at it.
