B Blit Well-known member May 16, 2011 #2 Hi Yes the Audio Technica AT875R requires phantom power. Your HMC150 will provide it, there is a switch. A good guide is that mics that are labeled condenser mics need phantom and those labeled dynamic do not. Hope this helps you.
