External mic question..

I have a Rode external mic for my 7D that has a basic headphone style jack (TRS) on it. I want to use this mic for my HMC but need an adapter to go from TRS to XLR. Are these even manufactured? Do I need to get a second Rode for the HMC?

Rode itself makes an accessory for such a purpose. The part number is a VXLR if I recall correctly and it's under $10.
