External FW800 RAID1 portable solution

[eL ProduceR]

Hello everyone, I'm looking for an External, Portable (2.5" drives at least) Bus Powered, FW800 HDD that I can use for dumping; I would like to set it up as RAID1 for extra peace of mind, and hot-swappable drives would be a nice option too. I have read several threads and couldn't find any matching solution; I'm aware of G-tech raid mini and Lacie little disk but those are RAID0 only.

I would appreciate your input

Can anyone recommend a HDD? Would I be better-off dumping to couple of single HDD in the field instead? I want to avoid this solution since is the most time-consuming one.

G-Tech make a miniG Raid.

Addonics and Cooldrives sell enclosure for 2.5 inch SATA drives that also would work.

The g-tech minig raid is non swappable and raid 0 only
I will take a look to those cooldrives enclosures as a local retailer sells them nearby

Thanks for your comment David
