External Display - No WFM, No Focus Assist, No Flip?

OK, I hope I'm just doing something wrong, but I can't seem to get any of these critical features to work on my HDMI external monitor - only the built-in lcd. Is it even possible?

Not possible.

The only focus assist that goes out the external display is the focus bar.
