GH2 external battery (vlock)

hi all
i have two like new sony-vlock batteries from another camcorder, and charger (is like new, too)
i 'm planing a shoulder mount rig for our gh2 and i was thinking to use a vlock system to power the rig ... any suggestion how to do it?
is there any device used succesfully with gh2 and vlock bateries to help to power diferente devices? (dat, monitors, gh2, etc...)
something like this? DSLR BP battery Power supply for V mount
regards

IIRC, the GH2 requires 8.4v when running off the AC adaptor. When you use the DCC8 coupler with an external battery, you need to feed it 8.4v for the camera to operate. I've had success with a 7-cell/5000mAH Tenergy battery used for RC and paintball guns I think. The camera ran all day no problem.

Check here for a Power Tap cable from Switronix that takes the unaltered ~14V from the battery plate and converts it to GH2 level voltage use. You then connect that cable to the DC coupler.
You can use a Power Tap splitter like this to go to your other devices on your rig as well.
It'd all be efficient too since you only have to worry about changing one battery.
Pick a battery plate that fits your rig like one from IDX or switronix then use the splitter to seperate for all your devices.
Hope this helps.

The Dolgin V-mount clip doesn't seem to have electrical pins on it. How does that work?
