Hi there,
I speak to you from a shoot. My panasonic 8" fancy monitor is turning on, but the screen stays black. and that's about it. the power light stays on, can't access menu, input, nothing. Oh, and all the knobs (chroma, gamma, etc) are blinking yellow. I can't figure it out, nor can anyone else.

SO, I'm choosing to connect my ex3 to macbook pro and use it as a Ext monitor. I have a mini usb to usb which is going in my macbook pro, and I have imovie open; but it's only giving me the feed from the built-in webcam. Any ideas on what else I need and need to do to just let the client see the frame on the macbook while still having pucture on my VF? I don't need to record or anything.
thanks very much for your help and concern.:violin:

Probably a bit too late for your need but in the future Firewire is the connection that you'll need to use.

not quite; this is kind of a long shoot and we're kind of in a weird location. also, we're shooting PAL which is why none of the TWO replacement crts I got is giving me picture...so i just go in through firewire into the mac and that should bring it up on imovie?
