Exposure and the HVX

I have read some reports that it is best to work with more light with the HVX to help the smaller yet high def CCD gather the light.

Anyone know if that is true - should we be overexposing a bit (without blowing anything out)? This would also help remove some of the noise (not that it is a major issue like reported). Or should we expose the same as we did with the DVX?

Any thoughts on this?

The camera is less sensitive than the DVX. But has a bit better DR and SN ratio. Expose to taste, rinse, repeat.

I have been keeping most highlights at or under 80% and I'm pleased with the highlight handling, and for me, noise hasn't been much of an issue. I'd say if I had to choose between blown highlights to try to reduce noise, or more noise to reduce blown highlights, I'd choose more noise. ;) However, the camera has such great latitude that I haven't found myself to be in an either/or situation. I *do* need to get a graduated ND filter though. I have one for my 35mm lenses, and it's made high contrast shots look way nicer and better exposed.
