Exporting Vertical Liine and resolution change

I'm trying to export to SD shot 24PA on a DVX to a quicktime movie from Xpress Pro and a vertical line keeps appearing. It seems the first 3/4th's of my frame has low resloution and contrast and the last 1/4th is the way it should look. *see picture

Same as Source and Avid Codec are both checked with native dimensions.

The frames look fine when I export as a reference movie...just not as a self contained film...

I would very much appreciate your help on this.

I'm using Quicktime 7.1.3 with Avid Express Pro 4.8.1 When I exported using 601 the line goes away, but shouldn't it work fine with RGB selected?

I also think my titles are not exporting at full resolution, they seem a bit fuzzy.

I do appreciate any help you can offer.

In all likelihood, the QT version you're using is too new (crazy, huh?), and is giving you the problem on export. Avid is pretty specific about what version of QT is safe to use with a given editor release. Apple has a tendency to change and break some things that Avid depends on to operate properly, and so it's usually not best to update your QT version until it's been tested out by Avid. A lot of times, a whole new Avid point-release will come out just to deal with QT changes. In this scenario, it's really not Avid's fault...

In any event, check out this document for what QT version you should be running for your Avid release. Hope that helps...
