Exporting to quicktime options

When I attempt to access the options for exporting to quicktime, I get an "access_violation" error and Avid crashes. I can export a full-sized movie no problem. As long as I don't attempt to access the options, everything is fine. It's just when I click on the options button and try to access the different export options that things go haywire.

Can anyone help?

Using Xpress Pro 5.7.2 and Quicktime 7.1.6.
 
Solved my problem, at least temporarily, so I thought I would post in case anyone had the same trouble.

Turns out that the problem is due to a conflict between the GTS 8800 video card and Quicktime. There's no official patch or driver update as of this posting, however changing the Quicktime preferences from DirectX to safe mode (GDI only) under the advanced tab seems to do the trick. Hopefully a video card driver update in the future will solve the issue permanently.
