Exporting to qt ref then Sorednsen: What do i do next??

I am trying to get the best picture resolution in widescreen mode, does anyone have the process down? I have saved a QT ref file then I spueezed it with sorensen. We I bring into DVDIT it still looks distorted. I dont knoe if my settings in avid are off: do rgb or 601/709 settings in 4:3 mode...PLease help???:crybaby:
 
What do you mean by distorted? Aspect ratio? Gamma?

If aspect ratio, make sure you set the 16:9 anamorphic flag in Sorenson for the MPEG2 encoder.

If gamma, the export should be set for 601/709 for digital TV. IF for some reason, your blacks are still lifted because of your color correction, you can stretch them back to 0-255 by setting it to RGB (from the 16-235 of the 601 setting).
