Exporting question....slideshow

I just finished up a 16 minute slideshow for a client. I used FCP and Motion to create it. I used the same export settings I would use for video. I noticed that all pictures that had any kind of movement to it, had noticeable interlaced lines going through it. So I am wondering a few things.

Do I select all clips and and DE-INTERLACE?
" " with motion and add a blur to them?

I noticed interlaced lines going through my company logo too which I never have seen happen before.

Should I have used a different export codec like Animation or something.

Thanks

Slideshows are made of still images, which are essentially progressive. If you edit them into an interlaced timeline, you'll have this issue. And it will be visible when viewing on a progressive monitor, such as your computer screen.

What's your final output? Web? PowerPoint? DVD?

Final output is DVD. I didn't notice the lines on my screen...well I use a flat screen HDTV to edit with instead of computer monitor. I also have an external monitor and didn't notice it on that either. I noticed the lines when I created the dvd and watched it on another flat screen tv in my house. What about graphics coming out of Motion? Should I have exported using an Animation codec?

My timeline is set up as Apple ProRes 422 NTSC 48 and Capture is DV NTSC 48

Is there anything I should have done differently? Can this be corrected if I set this up incorrectly?

Someone suggested that I work in a 30p HD codec even though I am going to output to a SD DVD. They said I would have better results that way. I've never heard of doing it that way. If this is the case, since my project is completed, do I just copy the entire project, create a new project with new Sequence settings and paste my project there and then export to a quicktime movie?
