exporting problems

when i export my video to quicktime movie or using quicktime conversion the video has grey boxes in the corners and one in the center. how do i fix this issue?
 
That sounds pretty odd to me. What are your footage/sequence/export settings? Can you post a screen grab of these grey boxes?
 
Also, some specifics about what codec, sequence settings, FCP and OS version numbers and computer are necessary.

What sequence codec did you edit in, and what export alternatives with codecs did you try?

ok my video rate is 720p30 but i think my compressor rating is 720p60 from a previous project. this is what it is telling me when i look at the item properties on the sequence and on the clips. how can i change the compressor rating to 720p30? that is probably the issue
