Exporting problem

Hey. I am trying to export a timeline of our feature film that is about 84 minutes long to a quicktime reference file. Each time I try, it gives me a omfiHPERROR anyone heard of this? I've been trying to export this thing for two days! And, it keeps giving me this error (at the end of the render). And, it won't create the quicktime reference file. Please help! Thanks a ton!

Well, you've stumped me. Is that the whole error? If not, can you post the whole error?

Have you tried deleting the msmFMID.pmr and msmMMOB.mdb in your OMFIMediaFiles folders?

After you delete those, open Avid to have them rebuilt then try it again. If that doesn't work it could be related to a piece of corrupt media, which is tricky to narrow down.

Also, are you running on Windows XP Pro?

Then I'd guess corrupt media or a sequence. Try creating a new sequence then dropping your old sequence into it. Then export the "new" sequence.

Thanks guys, got it working. I found the scene that had the corruption, and went and rendered that by itself, then put it back into the timeline, then it went through fine. Whew! Thanks again!
