Exporting fot Youtube

Hi

I have just finished a music video that has been uploaded to youtube. When i uploaded it i noticed the sound quality was very tinny, i have since taken it down.

Can anyone throw me some ideas for setting my QT export to run smoothly on youtube?

Depends on the source- typically I send an H.264 at a relatively high bitrate...

I use the Share option and upload it directly from the final cut 7 timeline... and I feel happy because before this option my youtube uploads always ended up being overly compressed poor sounding junk (as opposed to just junk).

It would be impossible to give you that detail without knowing what sort of footage we're talking about- 1080/24p, 480/24p? Pretend like we can't see your computer from here...

I limit it to about 8000 kbps
