Export to dvx mini-dv

Hi all !

Does someone have experience with exporting your film back to mini-dv on your DVX? Or is your advice to use a mini-dv player/recorder? My aim is to use the mini-dv tape as a screening copy.

(I've rented a DVX for my last production but want to buy one myself soon)

It's fine to dump your project back to Mini-DV tape through your DVX. a deck won't gain you any quality, but it will put less hours on your DVX heads...
 
one thing ive had problems with is exporting from adobe premier pro 1.5, to record to tape in the export functions. I cant go a few seconds without having jumps and stuff. It never records the same. why?

sounds like your computer is having problems
