Export Settings for web?

I exported a project from FCP ( Self Contained Movie ) onto my desktop. This self contained movie I opened inside of Mpeg Stream Clip ( batch list ) to convert to .H264.

I set the quality at 100% and limit the data to 5000kbps as noted on Vimeos website. My project is 1920x1080 in size which I also made 1280x720 as told by vimeo as well. I unchecked interlace scaling and left the frame rate blank.

My converted file looks fine but it is running choppy on My Computer, any ideas what it could be? Did I have to type in the frame rate ( I left it blank )?

Thank You

Which computer is the h.264 file running on, and using what media drive?

Is there a reason you are using MPEGStreamclip to convert instead of Compressor?

No specific reason, just trying something new. I usually use Quicktime conversion out of FCP. I honestly have never used Compressor before....... My exported version from FCP ( at the best quality ) is 1.5gb in size at runs smooth. The Mpeg Clip version is choppy.

Is compressor better?

thanks

Give it a try with a test clip.

It is designed for transcoded, standards conversions, encoding, etc. It is one of the best features of FCS.
