Export NTSC to pal DVX dv tape?

Hello,

For a film festival i need to send a DV NTSC tape.
I have PAL project and DVX100ae (pal).
I have imported the PAL project into NTSC timeline premiere pro.
Will exporting out from premiere to DVX with dv tape create a NTSC DV Version of the project?

first: you can't record a NTSC tape with a PAL camcorder. so you will have to get hold of a NTSC camcorder

in any case, you will have to generate a NTSC dv file locally on your pc.
in my experience, PP is not the best tool for ntsc to pal conversions.
personally i would export everything into a AVI DV PAL file, then convert it to an AVI DV NTSC with canopus procoder, which is the only tool i've found able to perform a satisfactory conversion.
then export everything to tape with a Dv to tape software tool and a NTSC camcorder.
