Export from Premiere, help!

So I've been doing test shots with my new HMC150 and mics...looks and sounds great! However, I just tried to export my text footage (25p, 1080) with Premiere, and the resulting footage was beautifully sharp but also weirdly skippy. The motion wasn't smooth at all, like watching a streaming video over a low-speed connection where it keeps skipping forward a few milliseconds.

I assume it isn't a problem with the footage, because it plays smooth as silk in the preview window as I'm editing. So I probably exported it wrong? Here are the settings I chose:

format: h.264
preset: hdtv 1080p 25 High Quality

Basically, I want to know (1) why did that make the footage look so weird and (2) what's the best export option for viewing HMC footage in its highest quality?

What are your computer specs?

macbook pro (2.5 GHz, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM), OSX 10.5, using premiere CS5

I tried the default "Vimeo HD" export just for kicks, and the resulting video looked fine, motion wise, so it has to be something with the export settings of what I chose...but you'd think 1080 25p HD footage wouldn't get all skippy and weird when exported to 1080 25p, right?

Vimeo HD is 720p I believe.....have you tried playing the 1080 on another, faster computer?

As a side note, get more RAM. 2GB will just not cut it.

I haven't tried it on other computers, but I have 1080p 25p footage from my Canon 60d that played with no problems at all on this same computer...
