export 24p footage looks odd

i re-installed Cs4 on a new pc and updated it and now whenever i export footage recorded on my t2i to a high quality 24p .mp4 the quality looks rather odd when theres movement, like a ghosting effect but not as bad but still, i dont know whats happening, i checked all the export settings and theyre the same as theyve always been, help?

it was on, i just unchecked it and now it's perfect, why would it add it to every clip I add though? thnx so much btw

It's on by default. I don't know why, I wish there was a way to turn it off by default as I'm constantly having to do that myself anyways for everything I do.

Agreed... What a pain. It could be default on an interlace timeline, but progressive.. no way.
