Experimental Reel

Hi Everyone,

I just completed a short reel of some of my more experimental work. It mainly consists of my DVX shots CCed and graded in After Effects along with some animation work.

I need comments from you guys to present for my video class at school.

Thanks!

Well in my humble opinion, even if you're work is experimental it still needs to express something, whether that's something personal about the artist or something insightful about humanity.

If you feel you were succesful in that pursuit then you're done. If it's just random images edited against each other to music you should consider going back to the drawing board.

I liked it, but I like anything with God is an Astronaut.
The only thing is I would make it follow some sort of timeline, if that makes any sense. Have a natural progression to your clips, not just a bunch edited together

I understand what you guys are saying. It was basically just to show some of the work that I had done over the summer to my video class.

Any other thoughts?

I think the last 3 seconds was awesome. I like motion graphics though. Maybe your logo could use a bit of sound with the motion for some added umph.
