Seen it, was great, much better than part 1 and Van Damme's best role from a long time, people who like action films should see it, its really a must, that kind of film never happened before. Its obviously not oscar material and never meant to be so dont treat it like one, its adventure film and i enjoyed it, dont regret seeing it, didnt had weak moments and i had a great time.Jet Li fight was great, probably my fav scene.Im ready for Expendables 3.:kali:

For what it was, it was entertaining. But I have seen all those actors when carrying their own films act so much better. LOL. It was like they got just 2 takes for a scene. But I had fun. I agree can't wait for the sequel. If you like heads blowing up go watch it!

I enjoyed it, I wish they would plan ahead a little more, some of the Norris scenes were obviously edited together.

Shucks, I saw the title to this thread and thought I'd find a link to inexpensive gels, tape and black wrap! Ooops.

Haven't seen the flick yet though.

i was actually meaning to put up a thread about this, but for a different reason... did anyone else see it as really crappy visual quality? i was wondering if my theater had a bad scan or just crap projector, but many of the shots looked very muddy. either that or they did a heck of a lot of post cropping for closeups, which i spotted a few times, which really didn't help.

I'm in Jamaica and it was the worst visual quality film i have ever seen screen in the theatres...and I mean bad. Noise (not grain) EVERYWHERE...muddy and soft as heck. So i also was thinking it was the projector but I mean damn ive never seen any film look that bad.

Other than that it was definitely a fun ride. I love it.

This was the most uninspired, randomly edited together crap I've seen this year.
3 meta self-referential jokes don't make a movie. These guys should be doing (boring) stand-up comedy not films.
A freshman film school student will certainly do a much better movie with all these guys bunched togeter.

I enjoyed this despite it being a huge peice of s*%t. The only reason it worked in any way is that its packed with former stars, so you can shorthand any character development (even the limited amount in an action film). Wish that Dolph was given a bit more to do, and I love laziness of having the red shirted Star Trek ensign style sniper character, and the Chuck Norris deus ex machina.

I'll give Stallone a pass on this one, but man do it right or don't do it at all!

It was a very bad film but still quite enjoyable because it didn't take itself as seriously as the first one.

And yes, the image quality was really bad. It was like half of the talking shots had been post cropped in. Like 300%.

I thought 1 was definitely a better film but I still really enjoyed this. Most of the jokes worked and some awesome action. I've never seen Arnie act this bad.

3.5/5 for the sheer fun of it
