Exernal Record Trigger?

[dashek]

Maybe anyone knows?
Is there any external record trigger for Sony FS700 I can buy?
I need to mount it under my finger on DJI Ronin's grip. Has to have Start/Stop recording button.

There is a wireless remote that comes with the camera.

And...? Shoud I use super glue or duck tape to stick it to Ronin's hand grip?

Velcro works for me

The handgrip connection to the camera is a standard Sony protocol LANC. It has a few functions that are unique to the camera, but for start/stop trigger any Sony LANC controller will work just fine. They're available very inexpensively from companies like VariZoom and Manfrotto. The controllers are designed to clamp onto tripod pan arms so will easily attach to your Ronin.

I thought this one to do the exact same thing as you want to do. The clamp on the LANC doesn't open wide enough to clamp it directly onto the handlebar of the Ronin, so I use one of the brackets that came with the Ronin and clamp the LANC to that.
