Hi,
I was incredibly stupid and forgot to turn my dvx off when I finished with a shoot today. I packed the camera into a well padded case and did not open the case until around 7 hours later. The camera was very hot and still had some battery life left.
I immediately turned it off and unplugged the battery, opened up the tape slot, and let it cool off. When it was completely cooled down I put the battery in and it seems to be working fine, Thank the Lord. The battery started flashing soon after I turned it on so I haven't been able to go through a full check yet. The battery is currently charging.
My question is, how much heat can these things take and is there somekind of problem that I will be facing in the future? Has anyone had any problems after their dvx got really hot for any reason?
Thanks
