Example of slow mo footage using REvision's Twixtor

I wish I had a way to use it, I don't have any of these:

Twixtor 4.5, After Effects plug-in: Available for both Macintosh and Windows
Verified for use in:
  • ae.jpg
Adobe's After Effects 5.0 or later.
  • premiere.jpg
Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0 or later.
  • fcp.jpg
Apple's Final Cut Pro 4.0, FCP HD (4.5) or later.
  • combustion.jpg
    Discreet's combustion 3.04 or later

Is this an H.264/QT7 dependent file?

I tried installing QT7 and had all kind of problems, now I'm back on QT6 and when I try to play your file it's just audio... guess I'll have to try the old uninstall/reinstall routine.

It wasn't that terribly difficult to learn. There's one trick that you have to know to really take full advantage of the plugin however. When you apply the filter to a 10 sec clip for example and slowed it down 50% FCP would extend the clip but this filter does not. You have to place your clip in a seperate sequence, then add the NOISE generator to the end of the clip then nest this sequence into another sequence and apply the filter at that point. It kind of tricks the filter. It's a pain but worth it, oh and yes the render time SUCKS! I'm not sure if this made sense but let me know if you have any questions. It's pricey but worth it if you're doing alot of slow-mo.

how much is the plug in?

are you able to get slow mo at any slow down rate or do you have to use certain speeds for it to look good?

granted you can't map or matte an image to improve the image, but for those that want decent slow motion at way less than twixtor's price.

i'll admit though that i'll be getting twixtor down the line. i've seen the difference between just applying the slow motion interpolation and getting control of tracking the slow motion.

Yes you can get slow mo at any speed, you just dial in the speed you want. This plugin is different because it actually creates additional information instead of just blending frames together, which as we know makes 24p look AWFUL

I'm getting this plugin tomorrow.

I might have to post some footage as well.

Your link is dead, by the way.

does this work as a plug-in like others do inside of premiere pro. and what is the render time on say a ten second clip.
