EX3 focus indicator ?

Garth Edwards mentioned in one of his interviews on "Monsters" that the EX3 had a switch in the viewfinder that would show when objects were in focus by outlining then in red.

What is this feature called exactly, it does not show up in any of the Sony EX3 literature... I wonder what other camera's have this. It sounds seriously cool.

it's not in the viewfinder, it's on the side

Also, in the cameras menu you can set the color, and sensitivity (low, med, high)
