EX3 - 25p / 50p variable frame rate

I'm checking out a rental EX3 for a shoot and see in the menu that both 25p and 50p can shoot slow motion up to 60fps.

What is the difference between the two settings?

I need it to shoot at a 180 shutter.
Thanks

I just loaded my tests and here is the answer/

60fps @ 25p produces nice slow motion
60fps @ 50p produces what looks almost like real time footage

I imported both the versions to a CS4 timeline and slowed the 50p clip to 50%.
This slowed the clip and has 25 different frames per second, so both methods will
create the same end result. At least it looks that way.

One thing to note: The footage shot at 50p / 60fps recorded audio,
while the footage shot at 25p / 60fps recorded NO audio
