EX1R oversaturates red channel (flat faces)

We've been happy with our EX1R once we learned picture profiles better (and I spent several hours with the camera, an HD CRT, and scopes).
However we sometimes get a pasty, flat, almost solarized look on faces. I basically have to underexpose a bit, otherwise it quickly shows up. Doing a bit of inspection, I found out that the red channel gets completely saturated, so while the overall exposure is still valid, it's not in the reds.

That'd explain it, the question is, do you have suggestions how to tame it down?

PP settings I use are below. While those settings don't have to be legal, they are intended to 'get the look in the can'.
(One idea I've already found out is to switch STD3 gamma over to Cine2 or Cine4.)

Im not experienced with the 1R but shoot FS100 and EX1

Auto Knee ON.

Knee is IMO a big factor in channel clipping and should be investigated.. then turned off by setting the level at 105%

I see at least one problem.
Faces2 has skin tone turned on. That should always be turned off unless you are actually going to set the Area Detection for each individual face, the current white balance, and the current lighting. In other words, Skin Tone is not a setting you should just turn on and leave on.
