EX1 + Matte Box from India

Hi everybody!
This is my first post, so I salute all of you for providing valuable information regarding EX1.
My dilemma at the moment is how to decide on Matte Box set up for EX1? I have seen different models on the net and in person here in Toronto. I did not like most of them first because of the crazy prices:cry:, and second because most of the designs that I saw do not fit properly on EX1 because of the low mic. position. I tried CAVISION (EX1 model) and Petroff and both have clearance issues with LCD being folded.
Now, there is Cine City from India. Anybody?
I tried to get images of this set up on EX1 directly from them: no luck, they don't have it. At the same time, person I was in contact with assured me that their matte box fits good on my camera.
If there is anybody reading this post that have Cine City's matte box on EX1 I would appreciate if you can post the picture of it showing the side view with LCD folded under the mic.
And some feed back in general about this product.

Regards,

Steven

First things last, this should probably go in the Sony forum, or Hardware.

Moving on, I have to wonder: why in the world would you slap a pile like the Cine-City on a $6500 camera? I'm looking at their site right now, and while it seems to work with the FX1, I'm pretty sure you're going to run into the same clearance problems if you try to put it on the EX1.

If you can't afford a decent matte box, here's my recommendation: Build one, and keep saving. A crappy matte box is going to be more trouble than it's worth.

So hit up your local hobby store, buy a piece of black foam core, or mat board (the kind that you use to mat a photo in a frame) and get to work with an X-acto and a roll of gaff tape. It'll work fine for now, you can build it to hold your filters, and you'll have that extra $150 in the bank, toward a Chroziel or RedRock (when their EX1 kit becomes available.)

Just my $0.02. Good luck!
