EX1+ LETUS Extreme Shoulder Mount

Hi all,

I know Zacuto is the best but what other shoulder mount options are out there for this front heavy rig?

The rig that Gareth Edwards used in Monsters looks pretty comfortable - the last 15 seconds gives you a good view of it:

I like the chest support on the shoulder mount as it would take a lot of the weight off the hands.

Also, any idea about that eyepiece he has on the LCD?

Nice set up.

The eye piece looks like the standard EX3 to me.

Love how well he did shooting his project with that set up.

Yeah I forgot that the EX3 came with the eyepiece. Very handy.

That style of shoulder mount is typically produced by cheap indian and chinese manufacturers and designed for DSLRS and camcorders and not for heavy cameras. I've read forums that say that these products are surprisingly helpful even with heavy rigs but I still don't know which brand to trust. The most 'trusted' brand that I have found is Ikan http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/753132-REG/Ikan_ELE_RECOIL_XT_Elements_Recoil_XT_Camera.html but even they recommend it for cameras 8 pound or less and still get a few bad reviews.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of a well built shoulder mount of this style please let me know! I don't want a standard zacuto or redrock style shoulder mount because I would have to add more weight to the back.
