EX1 importing problem. NEED HELP FAST!

Hello

I am about to purchase an EX1 and we`ve been shooting reference material with a test device but we seem to be having issues with importing the files to Vegas 8.

We are getting error message:

The file is most likely corrupted or unknown format.

The files play nicely on VLC player so file corruption can't be the case.

Anyone encountered similar issues and figured out a solution?

We need immediate help! Thanks in advance.

First you need to convert the .mp4 files to .mxf before importing in Vegas 8.
You can do that using Sony clipbrowser:

still not working... Vegas 8.0b wont import the mxf files...
