I'm confused a bit about the Gamma settings of the EX1 and the manual doesn't explain much either. What am I actually adjusting with the Level setting of the gamas ? If I bring it to the + side will the image get brighter, am I raising the whole curve or will it just get more contrast and thus less dynamic range ? The same for the - setting ?
I guess the black gamma raises the knee when on the + side right ?
Can someone explain what the settings in the detail menu actually do ? I'm talking about the Frequency and Crispening settings.
