EX1 Firmware Upgrade video

I have put together a simple little video on Vimeo showing the upgrade of an EX1 to firmware 1.11. Hopefully this might help some people and be an easy way to see how it is done.

Nicely done!

Only addition I would make would be to make certain people are aware of the pdf file which lists potential error messages. You might recall what caused me some grief was an error that camera was not communicating with computer. I had to power cycle camera and then update proceeded normally. Had to do this for both the 1.10 and 1.11 installs.
 
Thanks. I've also notice I did a 720 crop on the whole thing from 1080 rather than a scale so it is being re-rendered and will be updated once my upload limit is reset (Monday I think).

well I have already updated my camera. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that will greatly appreciate this. Well done Guy!

The video was very helpful. However, I would like to make 1 correction. At the beginning you have the statement that this cannot be done with a Mac. However, you can do it on a Mac with virtualization software. I just did my EX1 on my MacBook Pro running Parallels 4 with XP. The key is to select "connect USB to virtual machine" when you connect the USB port AND to check to little checkbox to keep it that way so that when the installer reboots, the USAB port does NT disconnect.
