EX1 1.13 Firmware

I just confirmed there is a new 1.13 firmware however my information is that is it not a bug fix/new feature firmware update for all cameras, it is just a revision for a specific region (eg South America). Our service centre recieved the information that the firmware exists but did not even recieve the firmware as it doesn't relate to our region.
 
Whew thank god, i just got mine back from LA updated to 1.12, you scared me and made me smile with relief!

I picked up my EX1 this morning after it was sent to Prime Support after only 1 hour of operation since opening the BOX ! .. Problem was, the remote zoom with the LIBEC ZC-9PRO (and xtra cable) was not working fine. When zoomed in max, the camera started to zoom out really really slowy. But the lens wouldn´t stand still at maxium TELE !

After 2.5 week i picked it up this morning, i have now firmware 1.13_0538 <--- my bad, it is 0538 and not 0542
inside !
As i live in Europe, the Netherlands.. well.. what happened to only firmware for South America ?

I have tested also the MxR cards, working fine !

these 1.12 or 1.13 seem to only change some default menu options or the like, nothing really of any operational effect

I did the 1.11 update and now with ND2 I cannot focus on infinity on one camera. On the other camera, the zoom sticks ten times worse than before the update. Not real clear about what these updates really do other than appease the MxR folks. I use only SxS.
 
1.11 is also needed for support for 32GB SxS cards, and the Sony 60GB SxS Hard Drive unit. If your having hardware problems with 1.11, it is possible that 1.11 is only now revealing a problem your camera has had all along but not relealed by the older firmware and it should be serviced.
 
In that case, can I go back to 1.04 and see if it resets my camera to work properly in ND2, and no zoom stick? I don't want or need 32GB capability, they take too long to download on the set. Does anyone have 1.04 firmware, downloadable?
 
I need to upgrade my firm wire to my PMW SONY EX1, right now it's at version 1.11 SONY is trying to charge me $279.00 to update to 1.13 before I can go to 1.26, is there any way around this? Thank you...
 
do you know where I can find a download for 1.13 firmware, sony is trying to charge me $279.00 to send it to them for the update,
