EX Tele Confor stills, its it possible? if so how?

No its not avaiable, but you can use the digital zoom feature, which also crops at the sensor.

Adding more confusion for me!!! On the GH1 the EZ mode works for stills only. So was it switched from stills to video on the GH2????

Sorry, correction.

Stills don't work in RAW, but work fine in JPG in ETC, and of course, also in video.

I'm not sure, but I think in still mode it is just a digital zoom, not a crop.

For stills with ETC, set the photo file size to M7.5m or S3.8 after turning on the ETC on page 4. Digital zoom is also possible on top of ETC which is just over the top! ETC is just the crop in stills. The quality is excellent by the way considering the file size and that it's not RAW.
