EX! LCD monitor

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has had the LCD monitor on the EX1s replaced. My monitor started getting darker and darker - evf still works fine. If anyone has, is this a big ticket repair? Having trouble finding someone local to service it. Have a call in to a pro division of a Sony dealer about an hour away. Not going to hear anything til Monday. Wondering if I should be looking to upgrade or repair.

You are not dimming the lcd backlight by mistake, right? There are buttons under the handle. There's even a switch that turns off backlight completely.

Just asking for you to be sure :)
