EX-1 Sudden power loss

yesterday my camera suddenly turned off ,but i can't remember if it rebooted or i had to switch to off and then turn on again.
cool 60 degree sunny morning and had been going through my pre-game camera routine around 10minutes when it first happened.i wasn't recording.
i had to film football from 8am until 3pm and then again from 6pm until 9,30pm so i connected the ac adaptor instead of having to recharge batteries.i never do this as i have enough battery for the first shift i always do.

so when it happened i decided to disconnect it and deal with the battery charging .
about 60mins later it happened during the game while recording.
the video file was stored on the memory card right at the point it turned off.
i thought maybe the battery was somehow loose and unlocked and reset the battery.
but it shouldn't have mattered the first time when i had the direct power.
lcd was not open,i use evf.

the problem never came back the rest of the day and night.
was using all original sony battery ac adapter and memory cards ,1.30 firmware 600 hours.

has anyone had this happen and did it become more frequent.
 
Try pressing gently against the power slide switch and push it slightly toward the OFF position. My switch has become erratic and my EX1 will reboot if I accidentally push on that switch.....and I'm NOT moving it into the OFF position. It just appears to be getting way too sensitive to any movement. That MIGHT be your issue.
 
thanks for the heads up.
i used it the following week for 6 hours and no issues.
just something i'll monitor for a while and keep what you said in mind.
