I meant to post this a few weeks ago when I got my March issue of American Cinematographer. Just thought my fellow EX-1 owners would like to know that the EX_1 is used extensively in the series (starting this past season) by DP Romeo Tirone, including on the Emmy Nominated Episode from last season "The British Invasion".

At last the world is safe again, eh fallout boy!

I see that Outdoor Channel that has been shooting with XDCAM for the past three years is adding EX1 and EX3 cameras to the acquisition mix.

Actually, yes. I attended the "golden Moose" awards this year with a few of the bigwigs from the outdoor channel. Not only do they use the EX-Series (mostly EX-3's with the stock lens, although i saw one with a non-stock fuji wide lens on one) for in-house work, they recommend it for their "hunters" out there that produce content for them. they even accept your native xdcam footage as File(s) - saving costly conversions and the hassle + inconsistent colors, etc that come from doing so.

In the same number of AC, there is also an article on The Unusuals which is shot on the F23 and the EX3. And they shoot the ex3's on SXS media, no fancy SDI out recording.

It's interesting to read about big-shot DP's who's been spoiled with 35mm for years that get exited about and use prosumer cameras in prime-time narrative shows.
