Hey does anyone know if EVS is closed today because of Presidents Day? I was on hold for awhile and didnt wanna wait all day!

OK, I called and here's what I heard:

"Thank you for calling EVS. All of our representatives are currently on the line. Please press "0" to hold for the next available representative."

I'm gonna take that as meaning they are open but too busy for you. :evil: :)
 
No they did answer..i got the same thing you did...twice today. I just didnt know if they left that message on there by accident or something.

If that's the case, then it's a cruel joke to let the answering system pick up and say, "Thank you for calling EVS. All of our representatives are currently on the line. Please press "0" to hold for the next available representative."

Thanks, thats all I needed to know. I ordered some stuff from there and there was something that wasnt in stock and I needed know if i was going to get it this week for a project I have coming up on thur.

I know, I'm horrible. The deal is, management doesn't want me answering emails any more during work hours, I am supposed to be in the lobby working with local customers. I used to answer emails from home, but I am currently working on 3 movie projects until the end of April, so if I can't get to it at EVS, I just can't get to it. Sorry guys. Things have changed at the store, and I am powerless to do anything about it. I am about 5 days or more behind on emails.... Again I apologize. I want to be there for everyone, but factors outside my control are interfering. And now, after-hours belong to my producers.

No worries. Who should I talk to about ordering a DVX-100b from you guys? I'd like to get the DVXUser discount if it still applies. I probably won't be able to purchase it until March 15th. Think you guys will have 'em in stock then?

WOW. As much money that goes through this board to your boss...... I've got words for business people like that but they would be filtered so I will refrain. In any event he apparently does not know where the butter comes from that ends up on his bread..
 
They have their motivation going in other directions now, that's all. I will be on here helping people forever, and in any capacity I can make fit. :)
