EVS taking pre-orders?

I see the HVX200 being featured on evsonline.com as if they are about to begin taking orders on them in a few days. Hmmmmm...
 
Yeah, I saw that too. Maybe they'll take pre-orders, or maybe it'll ship sooner than expected (although unlikely...)
 
Any dealer can take a pre-order whenever they want to but they can't ship until they have product... :)
 
What we'll be doing is the same thing we do everytime we run out of the DVX's, we inform the customer we are out of stock, take an order for it, and we ship by queue of the oldest order first. If we get five cameras, and there are 7 orders, the oldest 5 ship.

They don't have to be paid orders, they are simply implied committments, and if someone changes their mind, they can opt out before we ship when we call to confirm, and the camera goes to the next person down the line. :thumbsup:
